Standing at 13.3hh, Mocha is the perfect pony for your kid to learn on! She’s taught lessons, seen the barrel pattern, she’s had a rope thrown off her, and she’s a phenomenal trail horse.
She’s an easy keeper, and can ride solo or in a group
She prefers a slow moving life, but it capable of riding in all 3 gates efficiently.
She was started in western dressage, but has the foundation to do whatever your kiddo wants.... (read more)
Her only vices are being a little difficult to catch in a LARGE field, but if you have a routine established such as turnout for the day, then bringing into a smaller paddock or stall at night, she’ll come every time. She has a hard time standing for the farrier, but she improves vastly every visit. Her stifles bother her, she is serviceably sound, but would not be a solid choice for dragging calves or full time breakaway or barrels.
She cannot leave my property until we move towards the end of November
Located in Wilsall, MT, and if not sold here, will be traveling from central Montana to western Washington and can be delivered as long as it’s not far off the I-90
