This sweet boy is looking for his forever home! He was purchased as a project, and ended up just needing a good tune up so now he’s up for grabs for his next rider!

He has been primarily used for western lessons and some trail riding. He can go out with mares or geldings, but he is at the top of the totem pole in the herd which is honestly his only vice. He has about 30 days of a restart and will continue riding and working with him until he sells.

He would be better suited for an intermediate rider, someone with confidence as he will test you but never in a dangerous manner or even as a good step up horse for the right person. He is one that would require a fly mask, as his face is mostly white with pink skin and he does get burnt. He is NOT barrel trained! He could be if someone puts the time into him, he turns very nicely but I have chosen not to go that route with him as he does prefer to stay at a slower pace in the arena.

Shadow Pond Farm

Medicine Hat Quarter horse has all the buttons anyone could want. He does test you by not listening when you first get on and as long as you show him who is boss. He is a puppy in your hands. First to meet you at the gate. Only reason selling him is not beginner beginner safe for the reason described above. Truly gentle horse and breaks my heart we are selling him. We are looking for a mare of equal value that 8-12 that can jump 3’2 no problem and is beginner friendly.
