We are proud to offer this brilliant snow flake Appaloosa. Richie is 6 years old and 15.1 hands tall. Richie is a very honest broke gelding. He is great on the trail and will go just about anywhere you point him. He is very soft in the bridle, yields to pressure, and has nice headset. He has been used to gather cattle in big mountain country and has been very dependable to get the day job done. Richie has also been started team roping on the head side and shows great promise.... (read more) He can move his feet, and will not get out run on this horse. He has a fancy broke feel to him, you can ride him around with your pinky finger. Light neck rein, collected natural stop and pretty crossovers. Richie is friendly and willing to take on any adventure you throw at him. Richie walks, trots and lopes relaxing, pretty circles on a loose rein. You never have to worry about him trying to go faster or slower than you want. He has a perfect pace. This horse is safe for the entire family. He has been hauled to some roping and jackpots to see the sights and takes it all in stride. He has been in town and doesn’t mind cars, tractors, tarps or flags. Richie has the ability to be a great performance horse. He is also exceptional at just being a trail companion. Richie has no issues he ties, clips, bathes, and stands tied. He is great for the farrier and vet. If you’re looking for a gelding that has a bright future then this is the one for you he has so much potential to go in so many different disciplines. I believe this horse could make a great head horse, barrel horse but is also very content being someone’s trail buddy and best friend. Richie will be a crowd pleaser in whatever direction you would like to take him with his good looks and sweet disposition. Richie loads well and saddles up the easy and handles time off well. I also think he could make a nice English horse with his fluid movement. He is sure footed and knows where his feet are. He has been rode in the hills a lot and knows how to navigate his way through just about any type of terrain he will cross creeks and take you up the steepest mountain. Richie is the kind you can count on for a long days work. Richie has so much to offer someone he really has potential to succeed anywhere he goes.
