Here is a once in a lifetime chance to own a once in a lifetime horse!!! Meet Brisket, she is a 16.1H, coming 5 year old, Draftcross Mare that is the epitome of a FAMILY safe horse!!! In addition to being so gentle and so broke she is also sooooo BUCKSKIN with those big golden dapples on her sides!!! She has personality and she loves attention. Brisket has had some natural horsemanship training and she will lay down on command which is very handy to mount and dismount.... (read more) We have had Brisket for going on 7 months now and she has been out on the trails and will pack beginners and nervous passengers safely. Brisket will cross anything that you ask her to out on the trails, from creeks to ditches to deadfall. She is very sure footed and takes her time, picking the best path. She is traffic safe and fine with heavy equipment, four wheelers, side by sides, and skid steers. She will ride out alone with confidence or will follow along in a group. She stands to mount, you can pick up all four feet, and she has excellent ground manners. She neckreins around, lopes nice circles taking the correct leads and she stops easily. She is easy to load, she hauls with no issues, and she stands tied quietly and for grooming. We have used her to check cattle, doctor a one upon occasion and to gather the herd up. She rides bareback and in just a halter and lead rope. Brisket has an exceptionally smooth lope and is smooth in all gaits and is easy to set and ride around. Brisket is NOT quirky, she is a horse that can come in today and be apart of anyone’s family! I guarantee she will love you.
