Great possible ranch horse prospect.
"Molly" is a beautiful and athletic sweet natured mare who is ready for a job. She was adopted feral from a rescue center in Colorado last year and was barely halter broke. I started her under saddle February 2024 and she has made great progress.
Started and trained using Clinton Anderson's Method and knows the Fundamentals and
Intermediate levels, both groundwork and riding.... (read more)
Excellent ground manners. Gets along well with other horses in the pasture. Is not pushy or disrespectful and is easy to catch. She loves to please and always puts forth her best effort. Enjoys working and is always ready for the next task asked of her. Accustomed to being around young children and dogs. Stands like a lady for the farrier and vet, bathing, tacking up, mounting.
Under saddle:
Is still green but is learning quickly.
Is more "go than whoa"
No beginners or heavy handed riders as she is very sensitive to rider cues and quickly responds to rider's seat and hands.
One rein emergency stops and arena work at all 3 gaits. Gives to the bit and is very soft in the face. She is still green out on the trail. Been ridden out on the property pastures and does well.
Is very tuned in to her rider and would be a great horse to train for a sport or a job on the ranch.
UTD on all shots, worming, floating, and has received barefoot trims every 7 weeks. She is healthy and sound.
Will continue in training until sold. Videos available upon request.
