A gorgeous Kentucky mountain buckskin 4-year-old gelding standing at 14.2 hands and built exceptionally well.... (read more) Rowdy was raised by a gentleman we have known for many years from trial riding together, where he was started correctly and slowly. Since then, rowdy has excelled exceptionally with our training program. Rowdy has been exposed to ATVs, traffic, and all sorts of wildlife. He has been on many trail rides where we ride in deep mud, rivers, short narrowing paths, long gravel roads, big groups, steep hills, and various rough terrain. Rowdy has had riders of all ages from 2 to 70 and has never given an uncomfortable experience. He is the same gelding when you ride by yourself or in a big crowd. He has an incredible natural four-beat gait as well as a nice run walk. He will walk on a loose rein or pick up and ride with a group. He is always aware of his surroundings and sure-footed throughout the trails.
Rowdy has no issue riding double if needed, he stands quietly grooming, saddling, and bathing. We encourage you to come see Rowdy for yourself and let him show you the gentleman he is!
