Patsy is a beautiful fleabitten gray mare that anyone can ride. She has been used in the pasture tracking cows on the heading side and a few out of the box. She has no startle or spook in the arena, pasture or trails. Patsy rides with a loose one-hand neck rein, a great backup, stop, side passes and she will ride off leg pressure. She will ride the same whether saddled or bareback. She is very smooth at the walk, trot, and canter.
we have ridden Patsy on our trails 67 acers in the woods, on our obsticle course, across bridges, pushing swing pipes, rides over the plastic bottle pit, and on the teeter-totter.... (read more) She has no problem letting you carry a flag, open and close gates off of her, he has no problem walking across water/mud, down streams, through thick brush, he'll go up/down/across deep ditches and ravines, over fallen trees, through the woods with no spook. She is kid and dog-friendly, has great ground manners, is easy to catch, and gets along with our other horses, mares, and gelding alike. She isn't mare-ish.
Patsy has great ground manners and is very easy to handle. She stands very well for being saddled and bridled, bathed, and groomed, while being sprayed for flies, for picking her feet, standing tied and in cross ties, for being mounted (from the ground or a mounting block), and for the vet/farrier. She loads and hauls very well. She is the type of horse that you can ride every day, once a week, or once a month, and he will ride the same.
Patsy will be a great prospect for; team roping, trail riding, playdays, barrels, poles, goat tying, ranch sorting, team penning, little britches, drill team, parades, grand entry, trail horse competitions, polo, western pleasure, walk-trot, lead line, a lesson horse, English, or just a great all around family horse.
Patsy is a well made fleabitten gray mare with a refined head, a cute face, a kind eye, with a strong thick neck and shoulder, a straight back, good withers with a wide chest and hip. She is very sweet and is one of the favorites right now. She would be perfect for a child or an adult learning any equine sport you'd like. She is young but rides like a much older horse. Don't miss out on this beautiful mare!!! She sells sound, sane, and safe. Please no outside trades, deposits, or payment plans.
