Rose is a 13 year old Belgian/Haflinger cross mare standing 16.1 hands high, this girl is as stout as she is tall. Rose is ridden and handled by children from beginners to intermediate. She will ride in a halter and lead or in a snaffle. She will walk on a loose rein and that’s her favorite gait. She is safe enough for anyone! Rose will move around the arena more than willingly but he doesn’t know a lot about ring work.

(read more) This girl is brave and confident, she has never hesitated crossing water, bridges, mud, ditches, roots etc. she is brave enough to take the lead or will gladly follow behind, or ride in the middle. Rose is safe in traffic riding alongside the road and doesn’t mind tractors, semis, or motorcycles. She is around cattle, hogs, coats/sheep, chickens, cats, dogs, and ducks on the farm daily.
Under Harness, Rose is just as simple and easy. She is simple to harness and hook and walks on calmly. She has a nice steady little trot when asked to move out. Rose is safe in traffic and will take you down the road or also gladly take you on a leisure stroll around the farm! This is the perfect all-around girl for any family!
