Max has had a long career owned by teens and then came to our program to teach solid foundational skills to students.

Max is 16hh and around 19 yrs old.

He has done the beginner job but prefers a rider with experience who knows how to supple a horse, has good balance and has an understanding of seat and leg aids. But he has taught riders to canter with his shorter strides and very rhythmic way of going.

He has a lead change from left lead to right but will skip into the right to left lead.... (read more)

He was never raced and never saw the track.

He still enjoys a little jumping and has show experience. He is a great move up horse for a rider ready to support the horse to fences with a good release. He can do 2' and 2'3.

He will hack out around the farm but enjoys arena work rather than trail rides.

He takes 1 equioxx a day and is in front shoes.
