Lu 15 hand, 18 yro, grade Ap gelding retiring from being a great lesson horse. Lu is a gentle easy going guy, sweet disposition who is best suited for a teenager or adult with some riding experience. . He is gentle enough for children and beginners, but sometimes doesn’t listen to directions from someone small or with no horse experience. Nothing dangerous, just things like eating grass or walking back to the gate. He is healthy and sound, goes barefoot, is timid when turned out with others, never causes trouble.... (read more) The video ive listed only has left lead lope. Lu has been packing inexperienced riders for years and needs to get in better shape in order to get his right lead correct. I purchased him 10 or more years ago for my lesson program, he could pick up both leads at that time. Located in Aledo, TX. Video available upon request.

Rockin K Ranch is owned and operated by Kim Gardner certified instructor with USEA. Other instructors include Brei Reagles certified with CHA. We offer beginner western and beginner English through advanced, with a focus on Eventing, and combined training of jumping and Dressage. We only do private and very small group lessons, depending on the skill and goals of the rider. Riding for pleasure or competition is offered.... (read more) Coaching at competitions is available.
