If you're looking for a smooth, easy ride, Maverick is it. He's soft and responsive with three smooth gaits. No matter the amount of time off, he saddles up and rides off gentle like one is supposed to. This guy always comes back BETTER than you left him!

He's happy to try any new adventure and rides out nicely alone or with others on the trails. Always easy to catch, Maverick loves attention. This makes him well suited to a variety of homes, whether you're looking for a smooth trail horse, or a safe & fun horse for your daughter.

If the show pen is more your jazz, Maverick has been started on slide plates and moves smooth and correct. He will be a big stopper, and likely be cowy as well. He has natural lead changes and great speed control. With a good foundation, he is an exceptional derby prospect! This boy has Open level talent but the mind for the Non Pro and Amateur. A youth could even finish him out now and enjoy him in the derbies as well.

He has zero vices, he is easy in every way. Great in the barn or the field, easy to catch, and he has clean legs. 6 panel N/N, UTD on everything with a current Coggins. Shipping is EASY to arrange all over North America.

Maverick's pedigree needs no introduction with names like Smart Chic Olena, Doc Tom Tucker, Rugged Lark and Millennium Play. His sire, Professor Smart, has over $43,000 NRHA LTE, as well as money in the roping pen on both sides, and AQHA points. This boy is bred to succeed in the reining, cow horse, or roping pens and it shows, however, he can go any direction!
