Meet Ty, he’s a 9 year old rose grey gelding. He stands a solid 15.2hh. He is a stout made horse who has excellent conformation. Ty has the most darling face and big doe eyes that will melt your heart at first glance. He has the best manners you will find in a horse, he will lead without so much as a halter and rope if you like. Ty is the type of horse that likes to work, wants to please, and gets along with any type of rider! If you’re an experienced or beginner rider looking to have some fun Ty is your guy!... (read more) He spins, side passes, neck reins, direct reins, has flying lead changes, a great stop, and backs well. Ty rides in a snaffle, a curb bit, halter and lead rope, or pull the tack off and he will steer with just your seat and leg! He’s not a picky horse and he is very forgiving. Ty has packed around many beginner riders. Riders as young as 6 years old have been on Ty! Ty has dabbled in just about everything! This summer he joined us at some barrel races. He is started on the barrel and pole bending pattern. Ty has also been used for roping, cutting, and sorting livestock. He’s worked on the ranch checking fences, doctoring cattle, and wrangling up wild bulls. We have also started Ty over fences. He is currently jumping full courses at 2ft with room to grow. He is very willing and is honest all the way. Point him straight at the jump and Ty is for sure to take you to the next side. Ty has also had extensive trail riding experience. There’s not a mountain too steep, a river too deep, or brush too thick for Ty! He is not the spooky type. Ty will lead, follow, or ride out alone in any and all weather. He has been on several hunter paces. Ty can keep up with the fast pace or hang out in the back taking it nice and slow. He is game for whatever you ask of him. But wait there’s more!
