Started slowly and correctly, he is a clean slate with a solid foundation. He is unfinished and needs miles but is ready for someone to fine tune him into their own. He is ready to excel in any discipline. Quality enough for the hunters, careful for jumpers, and bold for eventing or foxhunting with lovely produceable movement for dressage. Easy to train and amenable to learn. Same horse every day, anywhere. Happily rides out alone or in groups. Chambo is classy, flashy, cool, calm, and collected.... (read more) He has a great brain, enjoys working and will do anything you ask without hesitations. Started on changes and courses. He has a loveable personality to offer without being overbearing. Greets you at the gate and easy to catch.
Chambo takes care of his rider, he is SAFE. He is an honest, trustable mount despite his young age and he would be a great horse for ametures, older adults and children looking for a quality but safe ride.
He is responsive and respectful to soft aids and is soft in the mouth.
Chambo loves children, gets gates, comfortable around cows, creeks, ditches, and dogs. Loads, clips, ties, cross ties, and is good for the farrier. No vices. Sound for flexion tests. Unfortunately he does have a bone chip in his left hind that does not effect his soundness or movements and is 100% sound. Due to this though out of caution I offer him as lower level eventing/riding until it could potentially be removed.
