Introducing keeper is a super good looking buckskin quarter horse gelding. Keeper is 10 years old and stands at 15 hands tall making him the perfect height and age for anyone.... (read more) He is an extremely sweet and well mannered gelding the whole time we have owned him and is versatile enough to go in any direction. Keeper does phenomenal out on the trails and has been rode over all kinds of terrain. Keeper will cross water, brush and logs with ease. He has been rode on the road and is used to all kinds of traffic and all of our heavy machinery here on the farm. You can enjoy a nice relaxing trail ride on Keeper in a group or alone. He is a point and go type of horse. Keeper also arena rides very nicely. You will love how keeper carries himself in the arena! He will have a nice rocking chair lope, and lope nice circles. Good stop and back up, and have a super easy one hand neck rein. You can ride keeper either English or western and he excels well in either. Keeper has been to many sortings, brandings, and knows his way around a cow. Keeper has had a rope thrown off of him and will side pass to open and shut gates. He is always the first one to great you in the pasture and is easy to catch. He has no buddy sour issues and has a sweet in your pocket personality. Keeper also has extremely good ground manners and will stand quietly tied. He is good to be saddles, bathed, and is good to be shod. He truly is enjoyable to be around, easy to catch, loads and hauls like a dream. Keeper is suitable for about any type of rider and is guaranteed sound.
