Amara is a 14 yr old Percheron pony cross mare who stands a stocky 15.2hh. Amara is extremely well broke to ride and drive and comes with a quiet, gentle disposition. She has flawless ground manners, always standing statue still to be groomed, saddled and mounted. She is an extremely easy going, laid back girl who has been ridden English, western & bareback. She is a versatile horse who will easily collect up and ride beautifully in frame or happily plod along on a loose rein.... (read more) Overall, she is a very uncomplicated ride and with a small squeeze she’ll move into her trot. She knows both canter leads and has great breaks. Amara is an awesome trail horse who will happily ride out alone, in a group or hang out in the back. She is extremely level headed and rarely ever spooks. She has been ridden & driven next to semi’s, school busses & motorcycles, she goes swimming next to kayakers and she has been trailered to several different parks for all day rides.
