Amara is your been there done that, super safe, super easy, go to horse for the inexperienced rider. She is a 14 yr old Percheron pony cross mare who stands 15.2hh. Amara is extremely well broke to ride and drive and can be trusted to babysit even the most nervous of riders. She has flawless ground manners, always standing statue still to be groomed, saddled and mounted. She is an extremely easy going, laid back girl. She will happily plod along with a loose rein or with a little leg she can kick it up a gear and move into her trot and canter.... (read more) She is a very uncomplicated ride - just kick to go and pull back to stop, no fancy buttons here. She will pick up both canter leads and has great breaks. Amara is an awesome trail horse who will happily ride out alone, in a group or hang out in the back. She is extremely level headed and rarely ever spooks. She has been ridden & driven next to semi’s, school busses & motorcycles, she’s goes swimming next to kayakers and she has been trailered to several different parks for all day rides and we are still waiting to find something that phases this girl.
