Tricky Rudy, aka ‘Stretch’ is an 11 year old 17HH gray Thoroughbred gelding. Stretch is a big boy with a playful Labrador puppy personality. He has lovely warmblood-like gaits. Stretch came from a bad situation and was thin and neglected. After some TLC, he has been putting weight on nicely and is now a goofy, happy boy looking for his next partner. Stretch has definitely had training under his belt, he needs a tune-up but he has wonderful gaits and knows how to frame up.... (read more) He even responds some to neck reining. Stretch is a diamond in the rough and a great opportunity for someone without a big budget. If we kept him longer and put him back into training his price would be higher, but we don’t have the time right now for him and he deserves his own person. Stretch will crib if he is bored, we have him on 24/7 turnout with free choice hay and he is not cribbing. He cross-ties, loads, and can be turned out with mares or geldings. He will be the first to come in and greet you when going out to the field. Price negotiable for a quick sale.
