Hope is a sweet pony who is super fun on the trails, has a lot of potential in an English/jumping setting, and we believe will make someone very happy. She is primarily for sale because we are downsizing and she needs more consistency than our program is able to offer her. She is a great trail horse with more go than woah but isn’t prancy, she is just a forward mover. She has been a popular instructor/lead mount for leading trail rides around Sedona for years.... Hope is currently being used in a high school equestrian program. She was donated to our program almost five years ago by a reliable donor who found she was a little too much horse at the time. She has been ridden English and Western by upper intermediate students in the arena and on the trail, but due to the nature of a high school program, she often does not have the same rider for more than half of the year, and we believe she could excel with one person and more consistency than we're able to offer.

She is fun to jump and is very athletic, with lots of potential. She would make a super fun cross country pony. She has not been schooled extensively in english riding/jumping by us but we believe she has a lot of potential with the right person. She has been used in games that include barrel and pole patterns, but it isn't where we believe she would excel. She is a really great little trail horse who can keep up with the big horses, is good to lead on, but happy in a group. She is often at or near the front, but in smaller groups she's fine anywhere in a lineup.

She has some quirks due to being mishandled as a young horse and would do well with an upper-intermediate to advanced rider who is calm and confident. It would be great to see her go to someone interested in doing more natural horsemanship and liberty work with her, as we think this is something that would be beneficial and enjoyable for her.

She is good for the farrier, but can be nervous at times with the noises. Our farrier has been excellent with her over the years and she has come a long way from when she got to us, but occasionally I will come to stand with her if she's getting nervous. She loads into the trailer, and is great in a herd, low in the pecking order and not mare-ish. She currently lives turned out with four other horses, and spends school breaks turned out with all 24. UTD on shots, dewormer, and the farrier, and is an overall easy keeper with no health issues. More photos and videos of flatting/jumping/trail riding available upon request.

We take selling and rehoming very seriously, so a home that is a good fit is our first priority. As such we will be 100% transparent about her quirks and what we think she needs in order to be happy. She is immensely talented, but as we downsize we just don't want to see this fabulous pony be one standing around because we don't have the right rider fit for her at a given time.
