"Pete" is a very good-looking ranch gelding standing 15.2 hands that anyone can ride. He has been used on a ranch to doctor rope, cattle, sort, pairs, push cattle onto trailers, check on cattle, and ride the fence line. He tracked steers in the arena out of the box on the head side and has started on the barrel pattern. Pete has a good handle and rides on a loose rein with a good backup, side pass, and stop.... He will open and close gates, carry a flag, walk across water, down, streams, through thick brush, over fallen trees, down and across deep ditches/ravines, and walk over bridges with no spook. He has been used in the obstacle course walking on plastic bottles, across bridges, and walking the teeter-totter. He will stand quietly for the farrier/vet, while being bathed and groomed. While being saddled and well being mounted from either the ground or mounting block. He will stand tied to the trailer or in the cross ties. He is a type of horse you can ride once a week once a month or once a year. He is dog and friendly, gentle and easy to catch, has GREAT ground manners, and gets along with all of our other horses. He loads and halls very well.
Pete would be a great prospect for ranch rodeo, ranch sorting, team, penning, grand entry, parades, drill team, queens contest, mounted patrol, a pony horse, polo, English/Western pleasure, playdays, barrels, poles, a trail horse, trail horse competitions, walk-trot, lead line or as a lesson horse.
Pete is a beautiful stout copper red sorrel gelding standing 15.2 hands, with very good conformation, he has a halter horse head with a bright eye, clean head, strong neck, and shoulder, nice withers, straight back, wide chest, and hips. Pete has a beautiful mane and tail. He is a good size for a larger/taller rider, he can easily carry 200+ pounds. He would fit any horse owner's needs. Pete is one of the nicest AQHA geldings that we have had in a while. He will fit in at the ranch, the stable, the family who needs an all-around horse.
First King Corona is sired by Fishers Cartel and is out of Poco Reed Princess, who is by Poco Peppy Reed. He also has Royal Cartel, Corona Cartel, Dash to Chivato, Peppys Dominance, and Show Off Silver on his papers.
