“Fern” is a 3 year old red gaited Molly mule.
Easy to catch, trim and shoe, crosses creeks, rocks, bridges, hikers and anything you would run into on the trail and graceful while doing so. We have even had her through a busy town with lots of traffic and commotion and even took her through the TSC store. Fern is very gaited, naturally gaited.. no mistaking her gait as a “mule shuffle”. She is great around dogs and kids.... (read more) She is also really great with gunshot, tarps, tires and even umbrellas! She is my “daily driver” but I have also let her rest and she has picked up right where she had left off. Very in your pocket personality. She is great ponying or even packing with a packing rig. Great around cows and can even retrieve cattle the mule way through ruff terrain like rocks and heavily wooded areas. Perfectly fine riding in a group or out alone and great around SxS and ATVs.
