Hidalgo is a 2006, 15hh, sorrel overo, paint horse, gelding with two blue eyes. He is a slow going horse that prefers relaxing trail rides. He likes having a confident rider when riding out alone on trails far away but with company he would be great for a kid. He would also do amazing as a horse for your kids or grandkids to ride around the pasture or yard on. He neck reins but is a little rusty because I ride him off my leg and he also directs reins.... (read more) Crossing water doesn’t bother him and he is pretty much desensitized to everything except loud fireworks. These, he doesn’t like much. I have ridden him in several parades and took him to local horse shows to ride around the sights. Police sirens, tons of people, ATVs, dogs, other horses, and events like this do not bother him at all. He loads and unloads great in our smaller low roofed stock trailer. Hidalgo is shod all the way around. He had his sheath cleaned in July, was dewormed in April, shod on 9/13, and vaccinated this month. His coggins expired this month as well. Hidalgo is a fantastic horse and it kills me to let him go but I just don't have time to ride him as much anymore and it isn't fair to just leave him sitting. Vet checks are welcome at buyers expense and you are welcome to come trial ride him. Please feel free to text with any questions or for more pictures or text to set up a time to call and talk about him. No tire kickers, please don’t waste my time and I won’t waste yours.
