It’s hard to even start this post to share about Lilly. This horse is a special one. I am in no hurry at all to rehome her and if she doesn’t leave I would not be disappointed at all. Lilly is being listed for sale due to absolutely no fault of her own. I have 4 horses under the age of 4 and do not have the time that they all deserve. Lilly is as sweet as they come. She is a pleaser and just wants to be with you and loved on. She will follow you anywhere.... (read more) She’s a thinker, slow and methodical, let her think about whatever you are asking her to do and she will do it. Lilly has about 15 rides on her, she is very green broke but tries her heart out and is getting better and better. She was started later due to time restrictions on my end and being a rescue from the kill pens she was originally terrified of people and I let her take her time. She’s been started slow and correct, she is now a strong confident, loving horse. She’s the bottom of the pecking order. She stands for the vet, Ferrier, baths and to be groomed, she loads in a trailer and trailers great. She’s been ridden in the arena and in the woods the few rides that she has had. She is more whoa than go and she does take some leg to keep her moving. She can be a little sticky moving her to the right but is learning and improving nicely. She moves off your leg nicely and has a good stop to her. She lounges and line drives beautifully. She lets you throw a rope off of her and walks over or will drag a tarp.
She will continue to be ridden and trained and price will go up accordingly.
