Astrid is an imported 2018 Fjord mare registered with the Canadian Fjord Horse Association.

She is very green broke, has been popped on a handful of times at the walk with and without a saddle. No spook, buck, or bolt in her.

Astrid is good on the ground, can be pushy but easy to correct. She's a super bold, brave mare, with eager, forward movement. Easy keeper - could get fat off air. She is currently out on large pasture with herd mates 24/7 but has been stalled before without issue.... (read more)

This mare is built like a tank, sound and healthy.

Stands a strong 14 hands and has nice conformation for any discipline.

Astrid is possibly in foal to TB stallion Allspark. If she took she would be due to foal in March/April 2025. Astrid's foal would be an amazing sporthorse prospect. It would be her first foal.

The stallion Allspark (not raced) was bred for racing with an all star pedigree such as his sire Grindstone (Kentucky Derby Winner), Black Tie Affair (graded stakes winner as a two, three, four, and five year old), Unbridled (Kentucky Derby and Breeders' Cup Classic winner), Mr. Prospecter (known as a sires of sire as many of his offspring where notably successful - his bloodlines have influenced thoroughbred across the world), as well as Secretariat's dam Somethingroyal!
