Beautiful chestnut gelding by Hard Spun, "Herby" was retired from racing about a year ago when his owners felt he was no longer competitive and needed a new career. He retired sound with no issues. He has about 9 months of re-schooling on the flat and over fences with an experienced rider. Solid jumping 2'6"-2'9" and will do more with a more experienced rider. Nice mover, quiet, very straightforward ride. He's brave, willing, and hasn't questioned anything he's been asked to do.... (read more) He loves to jump and has really thrived in his new career. Sound, sane, no vices. Clips, loads, ships, good with other horses. Very safe, could be ridden by an amateur and has the potential to move up with the right person.
