Maximus is a 14yr, 17,2hh Beginner safe Riding And Driving Gelding. He has worked every bit of farm equipment and machinery on the Amish farm he was bred and raised on and has been raising up his boys. Maximus is safe enough for his 4yr old handler to hook up and work along side his daddy. He said his son is up at day break with him, the father throws the harness and harnesses him then his 4yr old son takes the lines and backs him into the shaft, tiller or whichever they are working that day.... (read more) He is ridden by the boys all over the farm and has been used to take the kids to school and his wife takes him to town. Totally kid and adult safe to handle! He’s truly a gentle giant and is very respectful of his handler and watches where he places his feet and doesn’t over walk or pull on his handler. Maximus is one of a kind and was only replaced as they have a lot of younger horses they have that are coming up. He is shod and just came out of working everyday for a living still sound and with good teeth. Come try Maximus out you will love him!
