Sundae is a sweet mare with lots of try and heart. She has spent the last almost year bringing a friend's mom into horses and being the perfect teaching pony. Sundae is pretty well versed on trails and has extensive miles under her belt. She has also hauled around to gymkhanas for fun, pushed cattle, been camping, given lessons, seen just about every type of terrain that is offered, has packed around kids, and has been headed off of loosely!... Sundae is an extraordinary trail horse who will take you anywhere! When out on trails she will lead or follow. She packs around just about everyone she is asked to. Sundae knows the gymkhana patterns but is by no means a finished gymkhana horse. Barrels seem to make her happy and she has brought a few kids along in barrels. We have never made her a full blown barrel horse. Sundae loves to please her rider and is a quiet ride. She goes through her gaits fluidly, stops, backs, responds to leg pressure, and is working on her fancier buttons. She has a quicker trot and smooth lope.

Sundae is a mare and does pin her when she deems it necessary. She isn’t awfully mare-ish and is in a turn out setting most of the time. Sundae can be hard to catch in a turn out, however, owners have been working on it. She is great in a stall! Sundae ties quiet, leads, loads/hauls, grooms, bathes, and is good for the farrier. She falls pretty low on the totem pole and gets along great with other horses. This mare thrives in a family setting and really enjoys being a teaching pony. She will pick it up when asked for more advanced riders, but will die it down to teach. She is truly a great horse to have around the barn.
