Dolly is looking for an advanced rider that will take her to the next level. She is a 7yr old well-started prospect with about 40 rides. She came from cutting horse papered stock but was never registered. She is not afraid to walk out, chase down cows and get the job done. She is so cute she literally has a heart for a blaze on her forehead not to mention her long blond mane (note this being said, this is no kids pony she's all business please don't buy her on her looks alone, it's just a bonus).... (read more) She has a very strong top line, and if you're looking for grit, you've found your girl. We call her Dolly after Dolly Parton as she has all the curves and I'm going to be a star attitude you could ever want in a horse. She was not started until she was 5, so she is well developed and has good strong joints, very powerful for a small horse. As beautiful as she is, she is a horse's horse, still a little standoffish towards people. She isn't the first one to the fence and is a bit of a one man's horse when it comes to catching. If you want a partner to work hard, with lots of cow sense, this fast thinking, incredibly smart horse will not disappoint and is ready to go any direction. She just got back from 2 weeks in the mountains where she was packed and rode every day. She knows hobbles, high lines and has been tail tied to other horses with no fuss. She has chased, sorted cows and drug the salt sleigh for the cows. She stands to be saddled, has a light neck rein on her and is starting to move off the leg. She has front shoes on at the moment, but her feet could use more work to be totally relaxed about the process. With half way regular work this horse is a force to be reckoned with. Thanks for taking a look.

We're a regenerative farm focusing on soil healthy. While our main focus is pastured pork, grass-fed beef, grass-fed lamb and pasture raised chickens, Horses are a part of our every day work during the summer months and go through refreshers and training in the fall and winter so they are ready for the upcoming season.
