Gifted With Charisma, aka Ozzy is a coming 12 yo registered Paint gelding. Ozzy is a beautiful Dark Bay standing at 16.2 hh. He was previously doing training level dressage and was shown the last 2 seasons in Novice A Working Equitation. This being said, he really seems to enjoy his Western gear more than his Dressage gear.... (read more) He is a very handsome boy in both.
Ozzy has been trail ridden, pushed cattle and done many horsemanship and WE clinics. He has also done a little liberty. He loves the obstacles so I believe would excel at Ranch Riding!
He is currently shod but has been barefoot for most of his life. He is happier with shoes. Loads and hauls well. Is good for farrier. UTD on his vet care. He is athletic, capable and sound.
Ozzy needs a rider that is experienced with sensitive forward horses. He has a kind heart but can be reactive. He is not for a green or inexperienced rider. However, with the right rider he is a soft and willing partner.
I personally have had the pleasure of getting to know and lease Ozzy at my place for the past month. I have been enjoying my time with him and have been riding him daily. He has previously been out of work since February. This being said, the farm I am on with the riding arena has just sold. As this has arose, I have limited time here which has lead to this listing. He does not have much jumping experience but I have jumped popped him over a few small ones and he is willing, no hesitation. I’d be happy to share more details and arrange a time for interested riders to meet Ozzy. I can absolutely put you in contact with his owner however I have offered to help with the posting and further arrangements.
