Annie is an eight year old 16.1ish hand thoroughbred mare. She is very athletic with potential but can get mareish at times so she will require an experienced rider. I have jumped her up to 3'3 and courses up to 2'9 and she just needs to gain confidence to go higher. She would do best at a home with lots of turnout and someone to compete her. She would excel in hunters, jumpers or eventing. She has more go than woah, but I have trail ridden her throughout our property and she does very well.... (read more) She currently lives outside 24/7 and she's a very easy keeper on only grass hay and/or pasture in the summer. She's currently barefoot and sound, but she's had front shoes on for the summer and is also good with that. She's good around dogs and cats and stands very well in cross ties or without even being tied. I have been working on her ground manners and she can yield her hindquarters, forequarters, and back up very well. She's also a quick learner when it comes to liberty work. She loads well, and she has never had any soundness or health issues in the two years that I've had her. The only reason that i am selling her is because I don't have the time to compete her and take her up the levels, which i think she would excel at. Annie is a good mare with a smart head on her shoulders who needs her own person to help build her confidence and show her new things. I have taken her to a couple shows which she has done well at, she's just a little nervous because she hasn't had much experience. I am located in Roanoke IN, text me with any questions or to come see her at (our phone number
The video below is on a windy day after she had not been ridden for 2 weeks, which is why she is spicy over the jumps.
