Piper is a 7yr old 1/4 Percheron 3/4 Quarter Horse gelding standing 15.2 hands high. This is a project gelding. He is not broke to ride. I am going to lay everything out as honest as possible so please take the time to read the ad and its entirety.
We have had a saddle on him. He leads, loads, ties. He was sold to me as kid broke, he arrived to me halter broke with a kicking problem... That being said, He has not kicked or attempted to do so in 2 out of the almost 3 weeks we've owned him.... (read more) He stands to be groomed, we do not groom the back legs without being very careful. He picks up his front feet, we are working on the backs. He is great leading and knows all of his ground manners. He is respectful of your space. He wants to be your best friend and while he is working all of his attention is on his handler, he wants to trust you, and he wants to do exactly what you ask of him. This is a gelding with a lot of potential, he needs time, patience, and consistency. I cannot provide the consistency he needs to keep steady progress. He is sound and has unlimited potential.
