Clifford is a beautiful 10 year old buttermilk buckskin gelding that stands 15.2 and weighs 1250 pounds. He has a lot of muscle and shape! Clifford has a black mane and tail, impeccable ground manners, and is gentle and kind. He loves attention! He is great for the Farrier and he likes to be groomed. The past five years that we have owned him I have rode him on multiple trail rides and camping trips, including Palo Duro Canyon, in the Canadian River, at Matzel game reserve, in Eminence Missouri, and countless parades and grand entries and rodeos.... (read more) We have used him for a lesson horse for multiple levels of children. He has been shown in Ranch Horse Pleasure, Western pleasure as well as ridden English. He is definitely traffic safe and he will ride out alone or in a group. He will ride first, middle or last. He is broke to hobble and tie out on a picket line overnight. Clifford has is good with other horses in the herd, he does not pick on anybody. He stands perfect to mount and dismount whether it’s the fender of the pick up, a rack or a mounting block he is not spooky or jumpy. I have rode him right down the railroad tracks with trains going both directions, he does not flinch. He’s used to be in around tractors, skid loaders, cattle, goats and wildlife. We took him hunting in several location in Texas, where he was around gunshots from standing right beside him this did not bother him. He has been at roping’s where the kids used him to return cattle up the alleys. He has been ridden in the Fourth of July parade with fireworks all around him. He loves water and swimming. We have carried the American flag on him in multiple rodeos. If you’re looking for an all-around family horse from grandkids to grandma, Clifford is incredible. He is 100% healthy, sound and safe in body and mind!
