Available for on-farm half lease in Concord, MA.

Wil is a 16.1hh 23 y/o Oldenburg gelding, but you’d never know it (he’s about 4 at heart and looks and moves great for his age). He's available for a 2 day a week half lease with the potential for more if it's a good fit. He's ideal for an experienced adult amateur looking to have some fun or a confident teenager. Has dressage experience through second level and loves to jump (up to about 3’, but we try to keep it smaller most of the time since he’s an older gentleman.... (read more) Hacks out alone or in a group (as long as he’s leading) and lives across the street from the beautiful Estabrook woods in Concord. There is also a cross country field and a lot of space to hack out or do hill work on the property.

Wil can no longer do recognized shows (he takes Equioxx), but loves to go off property for a clinic, a cross country school, or a schooling show. He’s got a lot of personality (helps to approach him like you might a pony mare) and does best with someone who has a sense of humor (he thinks he’s very funny). An absolute puppy dog personality who is happiest when he has a consistent person or two.

Erin Renfroe is the trainer and runs the farm and knows Wil very well and does an amazing job with him. She’s in Aiken late December through March and other folks are available for lessons during that time.
