15 year old, 15.1 hand grullo paint gelding.
Tucker is looking for someone who would love to trail ride or do some versatility and/or liberty. This sweet and gentle guy would be perfect for someone who wants to relax on the trails alone or in a group. He has been ridden around cows and could also potentially be an awesome sorting horse. He does not love ring work but is well behaved if given a task like some versatility or in a bigger ring where he can move out more.... (read more)
He has been trained extensively on the ground and at liberty and loves to bond with his person. He truly tries for his rider and wants to bond with them. He has been ridden by beginners and kids but is selling as more advanced beginner/intermediate safe since he likes to try trotting or cantering up hills. He would do wonderfully with someone who has confidence and a solid walk and trot and can handle a canter and properly knows how to use the reins and body to help keep him slow up or down the hills. He is, however, very easy to get his focus back on you even when he wants to rush or gets slightly distracted by other things.

This is an extremely hard decision for owner, but she knows he doesn’t love arena work and her granddaughter wants to ride in the ring.
He is currently shod all 4 with the new England rocky terrain. And is up to date on vaccines, coggins, farrier and dentistry. He is on a forage-based diet and feed with added vitamin e and dac cool gut.
