Key Features
- Maui has competed up to 1m -1.05m (mixed jumper class), but she feels most comfortable at .90m. She’s a seasoned competitor with no stops, bucks, bolts, rears, or spooks—just reliable, consistent performance. Extremely adjustable. She’s been shown at paramount, RMSJ, Teasdale, etc. Auto changes & can take a rider error no issue.
- **Sensitive but Sane:** While she has a slightly spicy personality, she is well-suited for a confident child or adult amateur who is transitioning from a school horse. Maui thrives in a structured program and prefers a dedicated rider. Although, I have given her weeks off at a time & hopped on no issues whatsoever. Same horse anytime.
- She has been schooled up to 1.15m at home. Maui truly enjoys having a person who can devote time to her.
- This mare loves to hack out, whether alone or with friends. She has been taken on overnight trips and adventures in the mountains, where she has handled everything beautifully.
- The only maintenance she requires is front shoes. She is super sound. She has shown in both grass and sand and is currently in excellent health.
- Up to date on farrier work, vaccines, Coggins test, and teeth.
she doesn’t have the best ground manners, she paws when being tacked up. It’s gotten a lot better since I’ve owned her, but I’ve never been able to completely get rid of the behaviour. Once she has her person, it does get better. She makes up for it under saddle ?
She thrives best with a consistent, loving handler who will build a bond with her. She loves to work, she loves her job.
