This registered & DNA tested gorgeous boy is a rare buckskin roan with guard hairs in his mane a tail! 14.2 hh estimated to mature at 15.0 - 15.2 hh. At 18-month-old is ready to start soon and has had a lot of foundational work. In fact, he's been shown and hand walked on trails to get exposure. I've personally walked him in front of another horse on a trail, in the back and by himself. He is the same horse everytime - he will call out to his buddy but is comfortable with his human as well.... (read more) He has a very solid mind and is a quick learner. He loves his people, a bit unsure about new people, but will stick to you like glue once you gain his trust. He can move off pressure, will load and unload in trailer. We've saddled him for months now (not ridden) - born broke type! He's not once offered a bucked with a saddle on. He's been work on long reins and can do the basic turns and stop. He lounges, picks up queues by watching. He's not a fan of backing out of trailers and is still learning that. On trails, he's more interested in eating the foliage than spooking. He needs a bit more exposure to cars and dogs. This horse is going to make a fabulous trail horse. He's had regular farrier trimming. We've had some life altering events that is causing us to get out of horses, we're looking for a solid lifelong home for him. He is a diamond in the rough and we love this boy!
