Pistol is a sweet boy with excellent ground manners. He was a show horse in the cart and hitch team. He was sold as a trail horse to a good family friend of mine for many years, but health issues forced them to sell their horses. I have had him for a year and was going to use him on our small sleigh last winter, but lack of snow caused us not to use the sleigh. He was leased to a trail riding facility for the summer and was a guides favorite. He will act a little stringy at times in his right hind when backing or lifting for the farrier.... (read more) It gets less noticeable the more he is worked. He is a great horse and has been on overnight trail rides and hauled all over.
