Colt 45 is a 14 year old appendix quarter horse gelding. He is 15.2 hands but stocky! Originally a western leasure trail horse (still occasionally take him out for some fun chasing cows team penning) he has been jumping 2' to 2'3" for about 2 years now and making great progress! He does great out on the trail either in a group or by himself. I've taken to graves mountain and lake anna state park, plus we have trails of our own at our farm.... (read more)
I have taken him to a few hunter and jumper shows this year. Although he can be a little quick and powerful over fences, he has great potential. Someone who can provide enough time under saddle with him would really benefit him. Unfortunately, with my work schedule, I'm unable to ride him as often as needed. An Intermediate rider would best fit him.
