Have you ever wondered what it would be like to own a gaited trail riding Donkey Deluxe?! Well here is your chance!! Poncho is a 6 yr old , 13.3hh gaited Donkey gelding that will do it all!! He’s a super sweet boy with a curious personality. He has excellent ground manners and stands perfectly to be groomed, saddled & mounted. He bridles like a champ and has no problem with you touching his ears. He is an extremely uncomplicated guy to ride - just kick to go and pull back to stop.... (read more) He has been successfully trail ridden bareback with just a halter & lead line & always does fantastic. Out on the trails is laid back & level headed. He is a sure footed boy who will happily ride out alone or hop in the trailer for a full day of trail riding fun! He is easy going & will happily walk along with a loose rein. If you give him a kick he’ll move into his ultra smooth gait and one more kick and he’ll move into his steady trot. He has great breaks and always aims to please his rider. Overall Poncho is a gentle boy with a heart of gold. He is currently pastured with other mares & geldings and he gets along great with all other farm animals. He would be a perfect addition to any petting zoo or family farm where the children would like to learn how to ride too!
