Mort is charming and sociable and pastures great with other geldings. I am selling him because I do not have enough free time to give him the attention he should get and keep him in shape as I am going to college soon and am working a lot. He stands well to groom and saddle, picks up feet, trailers easily, and stands well for the farrier and vet. He has all the basics; walk, trot, canter, turns, backs, and side passes well under saddle. He is occasionally temperamental so I would not recommend him for a beginner, young, or anxious rider.... (read more) But when consistently ridden he is very responsive and he is always kind on the ground and on the lunge line. He has great potential as a prospect. He is sound and not prone to injury. He is a very easy keeper and has never had any hoof issues and hasn't gone lame. I just want him to go to a loving home who can give him the time and attention he deserves!?
