Sue is a 17 year old registered thoroughbred mare. She is over 16h tall and built good. She has been raced in her earlier years and won over $50k. She has some famous bloodlines; Bold Ruler and Native Dancer. Her sire won over $300k and her grand sire won $1million. She has been restarted after racing; walk trots and lopes good and doesn’t go faster than asked. No buck to her but she is a little sticky to get moving especially away from her friends.... (read more) She would make a great trail horse or lesson horse she’s not spooky of anything. She has had a few years off from riding so will need a tune up. I’ve hopped on her and she’s been riding just fine the more she’s ridden the better she is getting. Rides English, western and bareback in a halter I’ve also used just a snaffle on her. I just don’t have time to ride her so looking for a good home to put her to use and a leisurely kind of life for a once hard working horse.
