Professionally started under saddle at age 5. Tytsje has been my husband's mountain horse for the past 5 years. Tytsje is an incredibly sweet mare, she has a wonderful all-day motor and a lot of heart. Tytsje has happily done everything my husband has asked of her.... (read more) She has been ridden in some tough rugged country. She has ridden through down timber, water, snow, mud, and been exposed to all sorts of wildlife etc. She is great to handle, load, shoe, trim, bath deworm etc. Tytsje is great in a herd, bottom of the pecking order. She is on 24/7 pasture in the summer and grass/alfalfa mix in the winter with a run in shelter. She has never been lame, sick or injured. She has been ridden with others and is great to lead or follow. My husband has also taken her ridges away from the other horses and she’s done great. She is great to ride with dogs, utvs, dirt bikes etc. She loads and unloads great, stands great in the wash rack to bath and pamper. She has produced two foals for us, one via Al to Hessel 480 and the other via live cover to a Morgan Stallion. She is a great producer and conceived both times on her first cycle. She is in a bit of pasture shape at the moment but would shape up quickly with regular riding. Serious inquires only. Tytsje is an absolute steal especially for a seasoned rider, proven producer and one being free of ALL 3 testable genetic disorders. She is a breeders/riders unicorn! Great home an absolute must.
