“Ruler” is a 15 year old unique looking Belgian gelding standing 16.3hh. This guy is gentle on the ground, stands in cross ties, stands to be groomed, tacked, and dolled up.
Ruler will walk, trot, and canter nicely followed by good breaks. Ruler is mostly used on the trails but will also try his heart out in the ring for you. He will lead, ride in the middle, or follow a group, he doesn’t mind other horses riding closely behind or beside him.... (read more) Ruler is a simple guy that can take a joke. He is safe enough for beginners and timid riders yet fun enough for the more confident and experienced riders as well.
Ruler drives single and in teams and is equally as simple as he is under saddle. He is 100% traffic safe, he stops and stands when asked and backs easily. He will take you effortlessly down the road or a nice casual stroll around the farm! We have been using him to teach a child to drive in weekly lessons and we do have him shod all of the way around but he doesn’t require shoes.
