This sweet kind 8yo 16h chestnut gelding is ready to find his new home. Roman retired in June with a knee chip and has been chilling since, he is ready to start his new career. Roman does REQUIRE front shoes. Roman is easy to handle, respectful, and kind. He should be a pretty easy restart.

Roman would thrive best in an environment where he can be on a 12/12 turnout schedule.... (read more) This horse LOVES being in his stall, I just do not have the ability to have him stall him longer than an hour or two at most and he would love more.

Roman is ready to start a new job, his body is needing to get back in to work, he is very under muscled at this time due to just sitting in the field and doing nothing since June.

He is a retired race horse that lost all of his racing muscle and is learning how to be a normal horse, he is very well taken care of and is going thru loads of nutritional changes.

Roman does have a knee chip, he is sound for a lower level career, he would be a lovely dressage mount or some lower level eventing, trails, etc. updated X-rays being taken on 10/9.
