Additional Comments
Anyone can ride this mare, she had 6 months of working cowhorse training, has been shown at 3 cowhorse shows, multiple 4-h horse shows. We have ridden her to gather cattle. She crosses bridges, water, and will move out across the open terrain. She has been stated on the barrel pattern and has been hauled for exhibition runs to big arenas. She is safe, pretty, and sound. Phoenix is not a super quick footed horse unless you really know how to get more out of her.... (read more) So, she would be great for someone wanting a quieter pleasure moving horse. Also has been hauled to mounted shootings and stood quiet at the trailer.
This is a nice mare, has a good foundation, she knows how to side-pass, back, spin, hindquarter turns, she has boxed and cut cattle, reining pattern class, excels in ranch riding trail course, is a smooth horse to ride out in the open and a nice forward walk and trot for going on a ride. She has been handled alot since she was young and has not vices with loading, hauling, bathing, ect. Her feet have been well cared for, Coggins, deworming and health up to date. has never had injections and has vetted sound. Phoenix has good confirmation and is a pretty mover. She would do well as a trail horse, local shows, ranch riding, started well on the barrel pattern and is quiet, has not been run except on a cow. Not hot and will ride around on a loose rein. Her mane is starting to get long and thick but she doesn't have much of a good tail. She will be looky at a new arena but never unsafe just needs encouragement to move on.
Price is negotiable.
