Bellamy (Honour the Riches) is a 14yr old (15.2hh) OTTB. Yes she is still available and will be until I take this ad down. Please read full description before inquiring, I will only respond to text not messages from this platform.... (read more) (863)303-2924 she located near Marietta OH.
She is free because of previous injury limiting her to low level jumping (2ft and below). She was in a pasture accident, she fractured her left hind tarsal bone. She is completely healed with X-rays to prove. She also should be put on a horomone or mare supplement. Her owner is older and can no longer handle ottb tendencies. Her owner is also moving and needs to find her a home ASAP this is why she is free.
She has previously before her injury evented through BN, fox hunted, hunter pace, trail ridden, and was used for lessons. She stands for the farrier, vet, can be trailered with anyone. She is currently barefoot, but would need shoes if being ridden a lot. She can be turned out with anyone. She has superficial scar on her hind legs, she is completely sound. She is on the bottom of the herd and gets pushed around as she’s not mean towards other horses. She doesn’t have any bad habits Except chewing her tongue when she’s nervous. She’s easy to handle.
She has not been ridden western, she will need a saddle that is fitted to her, for her to be comfortable. She is on grain and hay.
Bellamy has not been in work for 3 years do to no fault of her own, but her owner has no time for her.
She was in previous work in June and July of 2024 and came right back perfectly. She literally hadn’t been ridden in over 12 months without lunging and walk/trot/cantered with no fuss. She can be hormonal in the spring and fall. Which means I wouldn’t recommend a beginner person.
There are more photos and videos upon request.
She just needs a good home where someone will pay attention to her and ride her.
