Kyzan, or Kye for short, is an 11 year old OTTB.
With 72 starts under his belt, he is a true war horse!
His last race was in 2020, and since then, he has been enjoying his down time and learning how to just be an outdoor horse.

Due to no fault of his own, I am unfortunately placing this sweet boy for sale. He is incredibly smart and willing, one of the most curious and people pleasing horses that I have encountered. Though with such smarts, he can be a little on the emotional side sometimes.... (read more) No bite, no buck, no rear- just facial expressions or minor fidgeting to let you know he doesn't quite understand what you're asking of him. Due to this, he would do best with an intermediate-advanced rider. Someone who is very patient and can kindly help him work through his processes. He has happily been led around by children 8 and under, and has taken care of children on his back with someone leading.
I will be picky with his new home to ensure that he will find a good match! I simply don't have time to give him the stimulation he strives for.

He knows basic ground skills, stands good for the vet and farrier, and trailers well. I have ridden him multiple times bareback and under saddle in a rope halter and lead.
He does best pastured in very small groups, or alone. Right now he is pastured with two small goats and gets along with them great.

I truly think he could go any direction career wise, however he would likely be happiest in low level eventing or pleasure.
