Ours Forever aka MOONPIE

Moonpie is a very sweet, in-your-pocket type mare. She can be mareish or sassy in the arena but no buck or rear. She loves trails and water of any kind. Moonpie is best suited to an intermediate-experienced rider. She will call your bluff, and she likes a firm hand.

Very athletic mare ready to go in any direction. She is very well suited to both English and Western disciplines but has currently been started back under saddle, mainly Western.... (read more) She has a great handle and smooth transitions. She is a beautiful mover with a lot of extension. She has seen wet saddle pads in the arena and miles on the trail. She is a great mare with a lot of athletic ability- ready to go any direction her next owner points her. extra points too because she is gorgeous.

Moonpie has been hauled consistently for 60 days. She stands well for the farrier and will stand tied all day long. She does well bathing and loading.

Vices: Moonpie does not like being in the stall, she gets antsy but not bad. She does not like backing out of the trailer, and she paws in the trailer if she is the only one in there.

Moonpie is registered but her papers were displaced before she got to me. I am currently working on replacing her papers which is not a big deal but her papers are not in hand.

She has a clean medical history under my ownership and has been sound all the three years I have owned her. Genetically tested and clear of all known genetic diseases.
