Blackshadow Lunar Eclipse aka "Luca" is named for the eclipse like marking on his forehead! Available in upstate New York, he is the perfect example of a purebred Dales pony and is sired by our recently imported Dales pony stallion Kingmaker Jupiter. His dam is none other than our Redprairie Violet, who is the very epitome of what a Dales pony should be. Violet consistently represents her breed by embossing all of her foals with nothing short of excellence.... (read more) Her firstborn, bay gelding Lagniappe Aristocrat, represents the Dales pony breed at the Kentucky Horse Park. She is also dam to the gorgeous licensed Dales pony stallion Blackshadow Apparition. Both sire and dam have passed on their exceptional conformation and temperaments to Luca - he's got it all.
Luca will be ready to go on to new adventures in the spring of 2025 after he is gelded. He will have all age appropriate handling completed, all vaccinations up to date (including negative coggins), and is registered with the Dales Pony Society UK.
A complimentary one year membership to the Dales Pony Society UK is also provided. Complimentary delivery within a specific radius in the northeast!
A deposit with contract will hold Luca until he is ready for travel. In the meantime, follow his journey as he grows and prepares for his future.
