Dually is a gentle 16 year old grade Halflinger/Belgian cross gelding, light chestnut with a thick flaxen mane and tail, and built like a tank. Dually stands about 15.2 HH and 1300 lbs and is an easy keeper (a small amount of ration balancer and grass hay). He is current on vaccinations, teeth float, sheath clean, and coggins (negative).

Dually is a great trail horse and under saddle or bareback is a pretty easy ride, beginning to neck rein with leg ques, has never offered to buck or rear and isn’t spooky.... (read more) He has been exposed to many different farm animals as well as wildlife such as deer, and walks easily through water along the trail. Dually stands tied patiently, loads and unloads, picks up his feet, is good for the farrier, and baths. He takes a minute to trust but once he trusts you he is a true love bug and will follow you around like a puppy. Dually derives his energy from the experience level of the rider, his preferred gaits are walk, trot but will move out if asked. He has been with a trainer for the last 60 days to get him legged back up after some time off. Dually has been ridden by a handy kid, although I wouldn’t call him completely beginner safe, he is best suited for an experienced beginner to an intermediate rider.
