WOW! Look at the pedigree on this one! Very well bred and has some of the greats on his pedigree including Cats Greystone, Highbrow Cat, Highbrow Hickory, Gray Starlight and Doc O’Lena just to name a few. Starlight is a very handsome, well-trained and Gentle AQHA 5 year old, 14.2+ hand gray gelding. This is a very smooth traveling well-trained Horse that’s an absolute pleasure to ride and work with. He is super smooth to ride in all gates and has a nice slow collected jog and will lope out collected on cue. Takes his leads and lopes out with ease. Good stop, back soft and side passes with ease to open and close the gates. He saddles up Gentle every time and stays gentle with time off. Starlight is a great Trail Horse and is equally solid to ride around our busy neighborhood. He is unconcerned about all that we encounter in the urban environment from fast passing vehicles to farm animals, odd stuff thrown out on the curb as well as the neighborhood dogs that charge up at us. He is equally outstanding to ride out on our mountain trails. He rides out solo as well as quietly and respectfully in any position of a group. Handles our steep, rocky terrain very well. Crosses the river, small creeks, Trail, bridges, and down timber. This horse is a pleasure to ride and has the sweetest and kindest disposition you could ever ask for. He’s been patterned and run around the barrels, used for Gymkhana and is fun to sort cattle on. He is extremely smooth traveling and is always gentle. Gets along well turned out with other horses and will meet you at the gate ready and willing for whatever you have planned for him. Our granddaughter rides him bareback with a halter in his pen. She just hops right on and goes. Good to tie, tack, mount, shoe, bathe, load and haul. Starlight has no bad habits, vices or issues of any kind and is a super nice horse that anyone would enjoy riding.
