KK Ichikawa is a 7 year old, 16hh thoroughbred gelding by Twirling Candy. K has been off the track for over a year. He had a proper letdown and has some good restart milage under his belt. He’s an athletic guy with a good brain. He has three nice gaits with a cute way of going on the flat. He’s still green and putting together the pieces but making steady progress and is a pleasant horse to work with and bring along.... (read more) He’s been trail riding regularly and is quiet and sensible out and about. He’s been lightly introduced to some jumping and has proven to be super brave with a good jump. K is polite and easy to work around in the barn. He stands nicely on the cross ties, bathes, clips, loads and ships like a pro, and is good for the vet and farrier. He’s happy in the stall or living out and gets along well with others in turnout. He’s healthy and sound with no vices or known past injuries/limitations. He really if a good minded guy with plenty of potential. Thats being said he is not for a beginner or someone timid. He’ll benefit from a soft, confident rider to continue his training.
